ASSEMBLY PRINT EDITION 2020

I had the pleasure of being the editorial designer and lettering artist for Malala Fund’s 2020 print edition of Assembly.

Assembly is a small, international publication that aims to empower girls, and give them the tools they need to better their communities and lives.

A few words from Assembly’s editor-in-chief on the publication:

Around the world, girls like you are speaking out for education and equality. Assembly’s annual print edition is a source of ideas and inspiration to aid you in your fight.

In this mini magazine, you will hear from girls in 19 countries about the issues and topics that matter to them — from menstruation myths and advocacy tips to dream jobs and learning during COVID-19. Filled with stories, poems, quizzes, photos and illustrations, Assembly’s print edition provides you with the tools to start conversations in your homes, classrooms and communities about girls’ education and youth leadership.
